The body is a system of systems
Different parts, each with its own job, all working together to keep the body alive
A system is different parts working together for one function; the body has several systems.
Digestion follows one order: mouth → gullet → stomach → small intestine → large intestine.
The small intestine does most of the digesting and absorbs the digested food; the large intestine absorbs only water from undigested food.
Digestive supplies digested food, respiratory supplies oxygen, circulatory carries both, muscular and skeletal use them to move.
Only what each system does is required — the names of individual bones and muscles are not.
